Dr. Elisabeth Krimbill
Dr. Elisabeth Krimbill is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University-San Antonio in the Education Leadership Program. This program prepares the next generation of school principals and district leaders.
Her research focuses primarily on law and ethics, school culture, counseling, and child development. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Education Law Association and is a member of the leadership team of the Law and Education Special Interest Group of the American Education Research Association.
As a dedicated community volunteer, Dr Krimbill works with several non-profit organizations in San Antonio and the surrounding area. These organizations are committed to serving youth and families to improve educational and health outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
In 2015 Dr. Krimbill was honored with the Howard A. Britton Patient Advocacy Award from the Patient Institute for her work, “We Can: A Teacher’s Guide to Medically Fragile Children in the Classroom.”
With years of experience as a classroom teacher and school principal, and additional training in counseling and instructional technology, Dr. Krimbill is now focusing her efforts on improving professional development and learning experiences for teachers and future school leaders at a local, national, and international level
ECHEZONACHI AWA
Echezonachi Awa is an HR professional and team builder who has worked in different organizations such as SavofNs, Hitscenes, Youth Up, and Optivity Now.
She believes in growth and development for everyone. Her passion to see others excel has driven her into career counseling where she focuses on helping job seekers and young professionals get it right in their career.
You can almost always find her lifting others up by sharing words of encouragement and inspiration. According to her, everything she does is geared towards ensuring that the other person becomes better.
Her favorite line is, “You can and will be better.”
LEIGH LENOIR
My name is Leigh Lenoir, and I have worked in the education field for almost twenty years. I began my career teaching third grade,and eventually added special education, gifted education, and vocational education to my classroom experiences.
I have served as a Student Services Coordinator, the Director of Special Education, and am currently an Education Support Specialist at NOLA Education in New Orleans, LA.
I have worked in public schools, charter schools, and vocational-technical centers.
I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi. My master’s degree in gifted education, and my specialist’s and doctoral degrees (both in Instructional Leadership) are all from William Carey University.
André Luiz dos Santos
André Luiz dos Santos is a teacher, writer and member of the Academia Santoamarense de Letras, Brazil. He is a specialist in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy in the Portuguese Language and holds a bachelor’s degree in Literature and Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Translation. He has been teaching for over 20 years, and he is the producer and host of a television Program called “Faça Acontecer!”, which focuses on education and well-being.
André has published the book “Listening – some tips on how to listen more and better” and throughout his experience as a teacher, he has realized the relevance and importance of “knowing how to listen”. His current projects are centered on working with and understanding behavioral profiles.
Angele Messa
Angele MESSA is a Social innovator, an Award-winning EdTech entrepreneur, and Business growth strategist with over 8 years of experience in using technology for problem-solving, driving socio-economic development and achieving SDGs, especially 4, 8, and 1. Angele holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon. She has worked with the Government, the private sector, civil society and International organisations to develop and implement diverse programs to help young people access quality education and facilitate transition into the decent workforce focusing specifically on refugees, internally displaced, rural communities and the disabled. This work has consisted of setting up and running entrepreneurship villages in rural communities, curating Open Educational Resources to help young people access relevant skills, design and coordinate construction of e-learning platforms, advocating for inclusive digital policies that favour vulnerable communities, designing digital programs for kids and representing Education brands in Sub Saharan Francophone Africa most especially. For the past 2 years, she’s been designing programs to train teachers on how to use digital technology tools for distance learning and how to be efficient in the post-covid19 era.
This work done for the past 8 years have brought her several National and International Awards and recognitions amongst which The African Union Education Innovation Award-2018 for pioneering the use of USSD distance learning system for rural communities ; The Zero Project Award for the work done with the disabled, Agenda 2063 Champions that features her in a comic book. She’s also a Techwomen 2019 Alumni and Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumna. She’s been nominated amongst 50 Most influential Young Cameroonians and the Company she founded was recognised as a continental good practice by the African union Development Agency-NEPAD and recently made the list of 40 Under 40 Cameroonian Achievers.
Pati Permenter
Dr. Permenter has 34 years of experience as an educator. She currently serves as an assistant professor for the School of Education at William Carey University, Associate Director of the Program Research and Evaluation of Public Schools (PREPS), and Co-Chair/Founding member of the Mississippi Rural Education Association (MSREA). She recently worked as an Empowerment Specialist for the Alaska Rural Empowerment for Successful School Improvement project through her work with Region 16 and the Academic Development Institute (ADI) where she is an Education Specialist. Her experience includes 28 years as K-12 educator where she achieved National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist. She enjoys working with school leaders, teachers, paraprofessionals, parents, and community stakeholders to find innovative ways to transform leading and learning. Dr. Permenter holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, M.S. in Educational Leadership, and ED.S. Instructional Leadership, and ED.D. in Educational Leadership.
Patrícia Quirino de Sousa
Patrícia Quirino de Sousa holds a Bachelor ‘s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (Spain). Her areas of expertise are in teaching language as a second preference and middle and high school pedagogy.
She is currently a Spanish teacher for the Secretary of Education for the city of São Paulo, Brazil, and is the coordinator of the Management and Events programs. Patrícia is also the representative of the International School “Mundo Español” (Argentina), and is the Managing Director of the language school “El Camino Idiomas”.
